I have a hunter programmable thermostat about 6 months old. It work find for the summer but not for winter. ITs programs are correct and the furnace kicks in for aminute then shuts off, no heat.

Are you sure that your furnace actually fires up for a minute or so, if you could tell us exactly what happens when you turn your thermostat up tot he point that it calls for heat.

Someone will help you if you can give us information.

6 months old,,its probably wore out,,you lucky a hUNTER tstat lasted that long,,,did it work last winter?

The furnace fires and then shuts off? Have you tried cleaning the flame sensor by chance?
