I bought my home new about 1.5 years ago. My house is about 1600 square feet (liveable) with two bathrooms. My bathroom or the master bathroom is located at the corner of the house. The problem is that neither the ac nor the heat seem to be reaching that room. All of the other rooms are fine and I checked the vent in the room. The vent was open and I noticed there was barely any heat coming into it. I have an electric heat pump and the house has one thermostat, located in the hallway. Any suggestions on what could be causing the problem in this bathroom?

Thanks

look for any dampers in duct system leading to that room. You may have to adjust other registers down to let more air flow to the problem room. Also look for disconnected ducting(round pipe, or flexible) leading to the room registers.

a little tissue paper held over vent when furnace is running/blowing elsewhere shoud tell you something,,,if there is no motion its either closed, dampered off,or the vent in basement or underhouse isn`t connected
