My mower was having trouble staying running. The guy that gave it to me said that it sat for about four years. He had it worked on by some one and they got it to run but it still wasn't right. After he gave to me I removed the carb, cleaned all the guk out. Now I am ready to remount it. Problem is that I forgot which linkages go to which holes. Any one know how I can get a picture, diagram or any thing that might help? Thanks

Check out www.small-engines.com they have some great diagrams of how to hook these up, as well as a ton of other useful info on small-engines.

If This Is A Briggs Engine, The Will Be A Link That Has An Elongated Loop On One End, This Will Hook To The Nearest Butterfly Linkage, The Other One With A Small Spring Around The Rod Will Hook To The Other Butterfly Linkage. Oh, The First Butterfly Will Be The Furthest From The Intake Manifold, Which Is The Choke. The Other Will Be The Throttle Butterfly Which Has The Spring On It And Hooks Up Closest To The Intake Manifold.
