before my mom passed last year from colon cancer she signed over her half of the two properties she owned with her ex-boyfriend the were split for 7 years before she passed she owned two homes with him one in Ma and one in Maine they each owned half. so now me and my brother own 25% of each and we both want to be bought out of the property's or sell them we have told this to the ex- boyfriend but we have received no response from him we just sent him a letter giving him 30 days to offer a buyout or to sell still no response so now I will be going to court and asking to force the sale what are my chances any advice would be very helpful.
Thank you

It is impossible to know and any guess about your chance is just that, a guess.

It certainly looks good but nothing in Court is guaranteed, the economy is awful, money is not readily available and a buy-out may very well be financially impossible at this time.
