I found this spider(?) already dead at the base of my bed. I've never seen this kind of spider before. I did a search for it and only came up with the white tail spider. In the picture you can see it has a white 'retangle' on it's end, a tear drop body and not in two distinct porportions. It's legs have 'bans' on them, started a a real light tan near it's body, then to dark brown, then to black, then a white ban then back to brown. It's legs are really throwing me here since the second pair of legs are unsually LONG and thin, almost like feelers.

The area is Centeral Texas if that helps at all. I was thinking it could be a tick, since of the body style, but not sure.

I live in Tennessee and have pulled quite a few ticks off my kids and dogs, I can't say that I ever saw one that looked like that. Legs are just too long.

Could it possibly be a type "Harvestmen"?

Again, close guess, but that is not a harvestman.
I think you have a tailess whip scorpion. I am less confident of my ID, because I have never seen one of these first hand, and your specimen seems to lack the scary looking pedipalps that I see on most all the images I found on the internet. But it's that second (actually first) pair of legs, that are used as feelers, that makes me think you have an amblypygian.
