You'll be more likely to have someone come along to help you with your problem that you're trying to solve if you show what work you've already done to come up with a solution.

We don't do people's homework for them here. However, if people do show some effort in at least trying to come up with answers themselves, then someone will be likely to come along to discuss with the person how their answer is correct, and if not correct, how the person might come up with the correct answer.
