Conduct an interview with company's accountant or account officer or any other relevant personnal in the company, who helps to prepare the annual financial statements. Based on the interview and your readings, you are required to prepare a detailed write-up which includes the solution for the following questions of the company's accounting cycle:

1.Does it prepare interim financial statements? What time period is used for interim statements?

2. Does the company use the cash or accrual basis of accounting?

3. Does the company use a worksheet in preparing financial statements? Why or why not?

4. Does the company use a spreadsheet program? If so, which software program is used?

5. How long does it take after the end of its reporting period to complete annual statements?

Hi, subasiny!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there.

It can be a little confusing when first learning how to use this site! Your question will get noticed much more in this topic area.

We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.

Concerning your post - are you wanting us to do your homework for you here? If so, that's not going to happen. I already did my homework, and because I did it myself, I learned something. I may have gotten help with how to answer questions and do the research, but no one gave me the answers but might have guided me in the way to come up with the answers.
