I am applying for a management position and there application asks for felony convictions pass 7 years and then it also states for ca residents if you are in a diversion program then answer no. My question is I am in ca prop 36 so I answer no wouldn't my felony possession charge still show up on the background check?

I would list it up front, you might be technically allowed to say no but better to be honest about this stuff.

If they find out after the fact you will have no chance of getting the job.
