Is it the Mirena, or the copper one?

If it's the copper one, I have no clue.

I use the Mirena, and found that I have my period about every 3-5 months. Actually, it's very nice this way. The doctor told me when I had the IUD put in that I would more than likely experience shorter, lighter periods, with the possibility of no period at all for a few months, and then it could stop altogether. I've had mine now for 2 1/2 years, and love the results. I still cramp occasionally, like I'm going to start my period, and I still have the PMS mood changes, but my periods have nearly stopped.
If what is happening with you worries you, then go get a check up. It never hurts to be checked, verses something going wrong.
Hope this helped a little.
