I have been having irregular periods for the past 2 months. Last month it lasted almost 3 weeks and this month it still hasn't stopped after a week. It was heavy all throuth my period last month. This month it was heavy at first but now its not even enough to fill a pad in a whole day. I havn.t been under stress so i don't think thats the reason. I went to the doctor but the just put me on birth control to try and straighten them out but its not working. please help!!!!!

yea i am in the same situation grl,i went to the dr today md she said take loestrin 24fe which i dont wanna be on da pill becuz im a smoker and i just really dont wanna be on it,but she is also sending me ultra vag (ultra sound) so maybe u could call nd see if they do 1 for u,how long have u eeb taking the pill for?

Check with your doctor about how long you should give the birth control a try. If it isn't helping, then you will need to have a more thorough exam to try and determine the cause. It can be something very simple, polyps perhaps, or something that needs more attention.
