My air hadler will not shut off. I disconected the thermo, and it still runs. Emergency heat light is not on but it blows warm air.

sounds like maybe some bad tstat wiring shorted ,,,,to see disconnect the hot tstat wire normally red at the airhandler end,,,,this is a start

If your heat sequencer gets stuck shut, you wont have the aux heat light on at the thermostat (the light at the stat is a 24v feed). If the outside heat pump is not running but your blower is with heat coming out of the duct (with the thermostat in the off position). sounds like you have a sequncer stuck closed.
