Hello All -

I am currently sexually active and taking the birth control pill very faithfully (i've been on it for over a year). Just 2 weeks ago i have had my period like normal, same time, etc. (i can always predict it) but I have been having weird vivid dreams for the past few weeks, sometimes every night (i never ever really dream at all before this), and have been extremely tired. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant, eventhough i am on the pill? I have read much about having tons of dreams when being pregnant and now i'm worried and I also hear stories of women getting pregnant while on the pill....

Thanks

The simplest thing would be to get a pregnancy test. Until then you are just going to be keeping on guessing.

It's possible you are pregnant, but unlikely if you are careful about taking the pills. (But if you are at all concerned, take a test to be sure!)

There are lots of other reasons for having dreams. Everyone dreams every night. But if you are waking in a relaxed state and not immediately thinking about what you have to do each day, you are more likely to remember your dreams. Anxiety will give you different dreams than the dreams you have when you are making changes in your life.
