im changing thermostats in my home and the wirinig colors have me confused. Now I have Invensys model 9701I. I am istalling white rogers model 1F72. Present wiring connections are C,R,Y1,EW1 GBO with All but O having a connection with a jumper between Y1 and EW1. New thermostat wiring scheme is W2, E, O/B, R, L, G, C, Y.

COuld someone please explain what connection to make.

I need the complete exact model number for your new thermostat.

1F72 needs more numbers after it.

I cannot supply the proper info without the exact model number for the White Rodgers.

sorry for not supplying all needed info. 1F72 151 is the correct model number. its a heat pump 5/2 day programmable model 20 to 30 v max 50/60Hz 1.5 amp max. i dont know if this will be enough info butim hoping it will be. im at a total loss when it comes to hvac. thx a lot for your time and know how!
