hey all.. im in need of your help.. im a certified hvac service technician and am in need of replacing a compressor that's faulty.. it's an emergency and i can only get 1 compressor locally that is 1k btu's larger than OEM.. how will this affect the unit short term and long term? this is for a 12k btu ductless mini split.. does this play a big role in efficiency/performance or not so much ? please help.. thanks in advance!!

Best thing for you to do is contact the manufacturer. Those mini splits can give you a fit if everything is not exactly correct.
