I am having a problem with calculating difference between assets and liabilities. Here are the choices interest expense; paid-in capital; accumulated depreciation; long term notes payable; rent expense; merchandise inventory; A/R; depreciation expensel; land; retained earnings; cash; cost of goods sold; equipment; income tax expense; A/P; and sales revenue. I think the assets are the cash; A/R; merchandise inventory; land; equipment and accumulated depreciation and liabilities are A/R; retained earnings; and long term notes payable. Can anyone help me break this problem down? Thanks in advance.
