How unusal/common place is this? Our pink toed tarantula that we have had for around a year now and through 3 sheds just grew a 9th leg after his/her last shed. No I kid you not - it's about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long (the leg), and has pink toes like the other legs and is fully functional.
