According to Wikipedia, "Mequinol is a drug used in the treatment of liver spots". Vitiligo patients also use mequinol but it is under the brand name Solage. It is monomethyl ether of hydroquinone. Mequinol stops the action of chemicals in the skin that create pigmentation or darkening. It is suppose to be stronger than hydroquinoine but weaker than monobenzone. It is cheaper than monobenzone and really easy to get from the usa. I have 99% mequinol powder and I am going to mix it with arbutin and maybe some raw green papaya lotion or extract because green papaya can really help your skin exfoliate and lighten. I use the green papaya extract by Splash and it is great. Many Filipinos use papaya to lighten their skin and i think this will be great to add in my mixture with the monobenzone also. I plan to start the mequinol on my face @<hidden> maybe 10% strength and the monobenzone on my body @<hidden> 20% to start with in November. I am too afraid to put the monobenzone on my face. I hope i see results within a month with these products.

I got my items from a US tradekey seller. But it took like 2 weeks to get the items. She's a chem student that can get the items through her college.

iven, where do you get the cream from??

i'm crushing up the mono with a few hot drops of water and mix it by a teaspoon and when i see that i'm getting small soft dough i add lotion and mix it all hard and slow .. i do it all in 4 oz jar..no blender no mess no dirt no problems...

it's been 2 weeks and i'm using 5% only 1 time daily
i dont see any changes.. and i dont expect to get any for now.. i'm using small dosage just because i want my skin to get use to the mono
and then after month maybe two i will start with 20% 2 times daily...

by the way it burns like hell!..only in the face

i suggest you all..take it easy and slow.. i think its the best way to avoid from serious side effects

Super Shallow, good suggestions. I used 20% before although I saw result in a week but it burned and irritated my skin. I have to stop using it for a week or so. I will use 10% only on my body now. I'll try it on my face after a couple of month later. We all should start slow ... Very good suggestion ! Thanks.

i use a sifter w/ the powder. It there is still rocks or clumps. I pour hot water on them thru the sifter.

I got them all.
I use hydrocortisone on the RASH.
anti bacterial oniment too.
i lay off the mono for a few days.
I do not exfoliate. Your skin is irrated.

Here is my update : I reduced mono to 5% and used the lotion after all irration, rashes and blotchiness were gone, only on my legs and hands. After 2 weeks of use, I got the irration, rashes and blotchiness again. I stoped mono lotion right away, but the rashes and irritation expanded to my back and body. My skin is not back to normal yet even after 2 weeks. It is getting better slowly. I am very upset and this may be my end of Mono journey. May be I am mixing it wrong ? If anyone could help, please suggest any thing. Appreciated and thanks in advance.

mcgm- it is very hard to mix throughly. That's why I stopped making my own cream.

I heat the sanitizer first then add the mono to disolve it. I then turn down the heat and add vaseline lotion. I melt the shea butter and then add it to my mono lotion then add aloe vera and mixing them with a blender. This is what I use to make a 4 oz lotion :

mono powder 1/4 table spoon
hand sanitizer 0.5 oz (enough to disolve mono)
vaseline 1.5 oz
pure aloe vera gel 0.5 oz
raw shea butter 1.5 oz

I took out sunblock lotion to reduce irritation. I use mono lotion at night and use sunblock lotion in the morning.

My final try will be 2.5% ..... but I will have to wait for skin to recover first.

I'm new here, not sure if I can ask here, Where did you buy your 100% monobenzone powder I need the white one, please help! Also need help with the mixing.

For the record, I purchased 8 oz of Monobenzone several months ago when I was desperate, and months later when I finally received something after filing a PayPal dispute, it was a white talc-smelling powder, NOT monobenzone!

Not that I would have used it anyway, since I know better. In fact, it has been my experience as a defrauded customer of Monobenzone.net that she/he/they are not just a scam but a spiteful peddler on this an other online communities -- making it just one more way monobenzone can hurt your skin _and_ your wallet, even if its not even real monobenzone!

i got mono from .net for many months and it was good what you r describing does not sound like the mono i have continually gotten from them, you should check your facts befor bashing celina .net has helped me to get the colour that i always dreamed off

its not really... I just got the HQ. It looks nothing like the stuff the pharamacist mixed.

I rec it yesterday. I doubt if I will peel. I'm a lotion freak. Retin a is the only thing that make me peel.... so far.not even the kojic acid soap!!!
