First, let me admit that I am by no means an HVAC Guy, but I have enough curiosity to take a look at a problem to see if I may be able to fix it myself. I have a Quatro True Blue Furnace (made by Consolidated Industries - out of business). The burners won't fire up. I pulled the honeywell Q34500 pilot assembly (I replaced it in 2005 as the probe was cracked) and the HSI probe appears O.K. I put my finger over the supply hole in the honeywell sv9500 gas control and turned on the power. It appears that there is no gas coming from the valve. First, am I looking in the right area? The blower works and everything sounds normal except for that there is no fire. Is there a simple test for the pilot assembly and the gas control valve that I might try to pinpoint one or the other?

Thanks for any suggestions and help.
