sorry if this question has been asked before i have my 4yr old going crazy so didnt really get to look threw the questions but i have dyed my hair black for about 2yrs now and i really wanted to go back to my natural color which is med to dark brown... i dont have the time or money to go to the hair dresser and have it stripped or bleached.i tried just dying it brown but only my roots took the rest is still black. is there anyway to get it back to my natural color. i heard if you dye it blonde it will go brown but i am scared it will go orange instead. is there anything i can do to get it to were i can dye it cloest to my natural color

Only bleach or modulate will remove that black! Yes blonde gets color out! But not just any blonde! It must be bleach! In ur case a high volume bleach2lift thru all that pigment! Yea your correct you will end up w orange n your very ends more than likely an ugly redish pink! don't attempt this urself! IV specialized in color 7yrs n when I went from a blue black to a level 8 it was hell but even a well educated colorist as myself needed assistance on the process! Plus you'd spend tons trying2get the right toner for ur hair after you lifted the color out! You'd actually need about 4different color formulas to properly counteract the underlying pigments that will result from lifting! It takes experience to do this n education n color! Its not like ppl assume! They think we pick a color n slap it on!wrong!!! Go2ur salon for corrective color!
