I had my 9 month old daughter's ears pierced 8 weeks ago. One earring was done at an angle. So they told me to pull it out and let it heal. They would repierce it after it closed. A week later I went back and they pierced it again. This time the angle was even worse. It has been 7 weeks and I have not taken the earring out. I want to know if i take the earring out will the hole close up so I can have it repierced again? Or, will it not close and need to be pierced above the original hole? Thanks for you help.

For sure I'd find another place to the piercing.

Let them heal and then pierce again - I don't know how many times you want to put your daughter through this but, as an adult, I had to have one of my lobes pierced a second time under similar conditions.

Thanks so much. How long do you think it will take for the hole to heal?

In a baby, I think it would be faster healing than for an adult.
I would wait at least 6 weeks before having it repierced again though.

I had my ears stretched and surgically closed and only had to wait 12 weeks before getting them repierced again.
