I was going to dye my roots blonde and then add some brown lowlights. The blonde did not turn out right and so I decided to put the auburn brown on my entire head instead of just lowlights. I dont know what went wrong but there is not a DROP of auburn in my hair after I washed the color out. It is a mousy, ashy brownish grayish color all over. What did i do wrong and how do i fix it. I want a beautiful rich brown color. Not this color. I dont know what to do. How do i make the auburn show up. What color do I use if Auburn didnt work. Can I use another auburn now that I have a darker base color and expect it to work now????
