k im getting my cartilage pierced tomorow and im not sure gun or needle my friend got it with a gun and its totally fine but my aunt got it with a gun and her ear is totally messed up. HELP!?

from experience- use a hollowed out needle with a pro! using the gun or a needle that isn't hollow will make cartilage build up in that one spot (not for everyone but it's very common) and you'll get a big bump sometimes. just go to a place where you can get tattoos and piercings- those are usually people who know what they're doing. good luck!
