You have described the side effects of Marvelon - also, if you go on and off, skip a day or two, it will cause irregular bleeding. You are not supposed to start and stop.

How long have you been on?

Hi Real Experts, I'm 24 and I have a little problem maybe you can help me with a answer. I've been trying to get pregnant so I can have a baby with my husband, but I think my period came down and I'm not sure if it is or not because its really really light but a lot of cramping. I was wondering is it possible that I can be pregnant if I did start my period?

Yes, it is. An expert will come along with a more thorough answer.

This should be on its own thread. No one will see it here.

You just stopped taking your birth control pill. When the pill is not taken properly or suddenly stopped it can take several months for your period to get back to normal. If you feel that it may be a miscarriage then the HCG hormone may still be present so you can take an OTC pregnancy test or have your gyno give you one. If the pregnancy test comes out negative be patient it should get regulated in a few months. Their are other forms of birth control that you should discuss with your gyno.
