when i was 17 i started having bad utis. to the point where i was bleeding getting chills and had aches in my stomache and lower back.. i woulod go to the docter and get pain meds and antibotics and it would go away for about a week to a month then come back. it has done this for about 8 years now and im worried that something may be wrong but dont know what? what should i do the next time i have a uti? can this affect me from becoming pregnant or make me to where i can never conceive? please help me with any answers as possible..

thank you.

I don't believe getting UTI's would stop you from being pregnant at all, but you should go to your gyno to ask what you can do for your UTIs. There probably is an underlying issue to why you get so many UTIs. If the UTI's are that bothersome (I can sympathize, I have chronic UTI's, however not nearly as bad as you) then you should talk about perhaps a bladder removal surgery.

I don't have much advice other than to try over the counter remedies, cranberry juice, avoid taking baths, use an antibacterial cloth to wipe after going to the bathroom, etc. But you really should see your doctor
