i had a c-section over 11 years ago. after my son was 2 i started getting pains in the incision from the surgery. i dealt with it for a couple years till i started feeling a lump where it hurts. so i went to a dr & he gave me a cortisone shot. that helped for about 6 months. a couple years later it was hurting again so i went to a new dr & told him about it & he gave me a cortisone shot again. we now it is hurting again. this "lump" is almost the size of a half dollar. should i see another dr & get another opinion or just keep getting cortisone shots. this is a constant pain & seems to get stronger after my period. should i be worried about this lump that keeps hurting??

Apparently you have what is known as a keloid scar, but rather than on the outside it is on the inside.

What kind of doctor have you seen about this? Have you seen a surgeon? Or even a plastic surgeon?
