With the propane prices going through the roof, I was wondering how much it would cost and even if it is possible to convert our forced ac/heating from propane to electric?
Propane is running close to $5.00/gal.
We came from a home that had natural gas. Our gas bill in the summer was about $25.00-$35.00/mo. With propane, it is running us, in the summer, about $100.00/mo.

Replace your gas furnace with a electric one and seriously consider a heat pump for energy savings on your electric bill. The heat pump will also at as a replacement for your old A/C unit. if you have one and if you do not you will then also have A/C with a heat pump.
