I am trying to get rid of our old boiler that was replaced that is unfortunately still sitting in our basement. I'm not sure if it has asbestos in it. It is a GM Delco-Heat boiler. Please help.

If it is a gas or oil gun fired boiler it probably has asbestos in the combustion chamber. If it is a gas ribbon burner boiler (usually 3 to 10 metal pieces as long as the boiler is deep)(the pieces slip on to a manifold )you should be OK.
