My period came ontime but it is extremely light this time. Usually i have a moderately heavy flow. is this normal?

When did this start?

Its not uncommon to have some periods that are lighter than others. Often times, the flow will start light, get heavier and go back to light once more. I wouldn't been too concerned if I were you. Consider it a lucky break! :)
