I am 36, and have had an all over body itch for 2 weeks. Yesterday I went to my doctor.

He told me he thinks is one of the 3 I listed above.

He gave me a cocktail of 10 pills to take last night. That was to treat the PID

Which he also didnt tell me it was a STD. And at the time during the office visit, I found it weird when he told me I didnt present with the symptoms of gonorrhea or chlamydia. And not to go home and shoot my husband... IT wasnt till I got home and googled PID that I found it was a STD. It took even more searching to find that you can get PID without an STD its just rare.

Not sure how long it is supposed to take for this cocktail to work. but I am still itchy


I am most concerned about the endometriosis. He said it was hereditary. My sister had it, and had a hysterectomy. I told the doc this. He asked about my mom, and I told him she didnt have it and had a hysterectomy early cause of a car accident. I was WRONG. I talked with mom last night. And she told me that she ALSO had it. She found out she had it before she got PG with me. She was actually scheduled for a hysterectomy and went in to have the pre op stuff done, and found out she was preggos with me. She had a hysterectomy when I was 6 months old.

So now I am really scared.

Has anyone gone through this?? if its endometriosis what will be the next step? Will I have to have a hysterectomy straight away? I am not concerned about having more kids. I have my tubes tied.

BUt I am worried about my personality changing.
