Evidently before my husband died he let a young man park some work trucks on a small piece of property we own.There is no rent paid or lease agreement in place. My husband died 5/23/08 When I went to check on the property I found a whole bunch of stuff including a fifth wheel mobile and pickup. I went to the Sheriff's dept. to have him removed ( no written report was made) the deputy notified him to move his equipment and gave him 3 days. The young man called me and I told him to get off the property. He wanted to know if I had started the paper work I referred him to the sheriff's dept. To date nothing has been done and the deputy has not returned my phone call. What do I do next?

If you want him to pay rent an allow it to stay there, give him notice of rental due. If not go back to the sheriff office and ask if they can have the items towed.
