i have PCOS, and in the past four months have been hospitalized for ruptured ovarian cyst, the last one was very large and VERY painful, i developed an infection from it and lots of free fluid in my abdomen, i was wondering if anyone has experianced these painful misirable symptoms and how do you deal with the pain, i can start to feel the pain again, and i have already started antibiotics the doctor prescribed, but i refuse to take the pain pills again its like they shove them down your throat.... i was wondering how everyone else deals with the pain..... its very depressing and time consuming being down with these things every few months, m at my wits end if anyone has any ideas or knows anything please respond i would be so greatful!

check with your doctor and see if fybromylagia could be a problem for you, that would explain the extreme pain. it is an offshoot of PCOS. But then, that starts a whole series of other meds for you and to be quite honest, unless you are not extremely overweight, walking and any exercise similar to that will distill the pain you have. Maybe. Cant diagnose, you know that. These are only suggestions for you to follow at the present time.
