My room is upstairs and the hottest room in the house in the summer. I can step out of the room into the hallway and tell the difference. Downstairs is much cooler and I have closed two vents and half way closed two vents downstairs. There is only one unit downstairs in the house and I know that heat rises. Yesterday I put a plastic cover on the vent by the thermostat to redirect the air. Is there a simple way for me to pull more air into the room when the air conditioner is on through the duct. I don't want to pay anyone to do anything. I can do a lot of things myself. I don't want a window unit and the floor unit are too expensive. LuckyLady I hope.
