trust me by 9 weeks preg you would be having severe pain. most people do feel a "stich" weired achy feeling due to implantation etc. if you are losing sleep over it i would get in contact with your ob and get a sonogram to be certain

Yes, let your doctor know if nothing else to ease your mind. It is quite common to feel a sharp catch in the lower abdomen or groin area, especially when you first stand up as the ligaments that support the uterus start to stretch. While the uterus is still small at this stage, hormonal changes kick in from the start.
