Alright so here is the low down, I am of the age of 19, Last month I got my period June 20th. This month I figured I would get it July 19th or July 20th. Today is July 26th, and still no period. My boyfriend and I did have unprotected sex around the time of my ovulation and I am scared that I might be pregnant. For the past week I have had sore breasts, cramps, and I have felt dizzy upon standing. I have not taken an at home pregnancy test yet but I plan on it soon. My mother said I could just be experiencing a missed period for this month and that I might not be pregnant. Is it possible to get a lot of cramping during the month without getting your period? What do you think am I pregnant of paranoid?

You had unprotected sex, so yes, you could be pregnant, in fact, since you had sex around the time you ovulated, I'd say there's a very good chance that you are. Your symptoms could be pregnancy symptoms or it could be a delayed period. You won't know for sure until you take a pregnancy test or go to your doctor for a blood test.

You said that you are scared. Why? Obviously you want a baby, otherwise you would be using birth control, right?
