O.K., So I thought I was going to be able to install this thermostat because the folks I purchased it from say it's as "easy as 1,2,3". I have NO thermostat installation experience!!! and it's 90 degrees out there!!! The old Honeywell came off easily, I marked the wires (4 wires) and here is my dilemma, don't laugh now.............where do I connect the wires to the terminal? There is no place in the TOP of the terminal where I can insert a wire, and the only other place that looks accessible is on the front of the terminal, but if it wires were connected there it would interfere with plugging in the thermostat itsself. This has been a real project for a 71 year-old granny. Do the wires just sit in the little trough-like spaces on tope of the terminals???? I need help quick!! I tossed the old thermostat, and would like to cool down soon.............Oh my new Honeywell is model Honeywell RTH 230B .
