I have a Figidair unit & a Honeywell thermostat. I am replacing the thermostat and the old one uses 6 wires but the new one only uses 5. How do I wire this thing?

What letters are the terminals in the old tstat labeled with?
What color are the wires to each terminal of the old unit?
What letters are the terminals in the new tstat labeled with?
Is the new tstat a Honeywell also?
Is this Frigidaire a heat pump? fossil fuel/AC unit? heat only? AC only? Should know all this info. You will have to be careful and specific. You can really bollix things up if you don't hook it up correctly the first time!
