hi,

i have h1 from 1st of oct 2004 and been in usa for the whole year of 2005.

i have gone to hr block for filing taxes and they filed 1040nr-ez.

i think they should file 1040 ez.

can some one help me on this plz.:mad:

Did u also file 8843? Also, could you tell me what did u fill in the column next to the signature: did u fill student or your current job title ? I;m in the same situation....will appreciate your response.

Since you were under a H-1 visa for all of 2005, you file Form 1040EZ.

Form 8843 is not required if you file as a resident alien.
