I'm new to this site and i'm wondering if anyone has had anything similar...

I had the merina coil removed about 3 months ago, and 2 days ago I started my first period since it was removed. The period is VERY heavy and very painful, but today is the 3rd day and whilst the bleeding has slightly lessened, the pain has increased. I feel soooo much pressure pushing at my stomach and bowel, and have really bad pain in my groin area towards the left hand side. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this...

I've always had heavy and painful periods so I should be used to it, and I didn't have any periods while on the merina coil which was great... I had to have the coil removed though because it didn't agree with me.

The pain in my groin is the worst, just wondering if this is normal?
