The other day my computer got infected with a spyware virus (Trojan) I installed some new antivirus/spyware software. The viruses were taken care of, but now when i go to any website that plays videos (youtube, weather channel map animations etc...) the video players don`t even show up on the screen. For example, if i select a video on you tube everything on the page will show up except the video player itself. Any ideas what might be causing this and is there a solution? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Your file associations and/or application registrations got messed up. Try reinstalling your media players (Quicktime, Windows Media, Adobe Flash, etc.).
