In general the t-stat wires terminate in the furnace.

Usually two t-stat wires run from the furnace to the condenser for single stage non heat-pump systems.

In general, you run a LV cable from the t-stat to the furnace/air handler and an LV cable from the furnace/air handler to the condenser.

Now connect the dots.

Yes, there are exceptions.
