UGH! I am disgusted! I just took my couch covers off to wash them - I found this one inch long intestine looking ??? larva thing imbedded in the cushion underneath the cover. I don't know if I want to know what it is - but I think I should try to find out. It is repulsive looking is all I know now. My husband took it off with a pair of tweezers and it was hard. I have had this couch for about 7 or 8 years. I can't find my cord to upload photos right now.

You said it was 'hard' - does that mean it was brown? It could be any number of things, but unless you found a lot of them I wouldn't worry. If you want to find out what it is, put it in a jar, cover it with a screen (or small holes in lid) and wait....
