Hello, my name is Sarah and I know I should have this answer since I have 2 kids but for the first time in 7 months, my period is 4 days late, am not on the pill, and am starting to see a twinge of brown, but not heavy. I usually get 3 days of brown first and I know our bodies are subject to change its routine at any time, but IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THE BROWN STILL IF I MIGHT BE PREGNANT? I feel like I have the symptoms and would love to be pregnant, we've been trying since Dec. but I don't want to get anyones hopes up!! Thanks for all who read this and help with an encouraging reply!

-Sincerely Sarah

Yes, it is possible to get the brown discharge and be pregnant. If you are usually quite regular, try a test and see what results you get. If negative, give it several more days and try another if still no period. Might be period is just going to start a bit later than usual, might be due to pregnancy.

I do have some mild cramping...can you still get all period symptoms like cravings, breakouts and cramps and still be pregnant?? Like I said, I know I sound lame with having been through this twice, but it's been such a long time, I forget! Thanks again! -Sarah

It is frustrating to be sure! Yes, the symptoms of early pregnancy can be similar to premenstrual symptoms. Many women will feel like their period is about to start anyday. Like you said, it is simply a matter of time.....:)
