hi I I have a maple chase thermostat. I need to know how to set the time . at the moment I have it set at 75 F .but when the temp reaches this number the unit does not shut off and the temp keeps dropping can you help me?

You are asking 2 questions. Setting the time is done by instructions that came with your tstat. If you don't have them google the brand name , thermostat, and instructions, etc. That's the only way to figure that out. As far as the tstat satisfying and still cooling, programmable stats sometimes lower the temp 1 degree below the set temp before turning off. After that point there is a wiring problem or you are not reading you tstat correctly. You may be seeing actual temp and not the temp that it is set to. Or if it is programmed to be cooler later some tstats will "recover" to anticipate the temperature that it is set to acheive later. Let's say it's set to 75 until 5 pm and it's 3 o clock. Then it's programmed to drop to 70 at 5 pm the stat will anticipate that it will take some work to cool it down to 70 @<hidden> 5 pm and run to accomodate this.
