I have a couple of questions. I have a Heil Central residential A/C System, and do not know the model number. My first question is where do I locate that number, and my second question is where are the filters so that I can clean them? My system has not been shutting off when it reaches the appropriate temperature, and I feel that the filters are probably in need of a good cleaning. This is probably a simple fix, but I never paid attention when my husband cleaned them out. He passed away suddenly and now I'm at a loss as to how to maintain the system properly. Thank you for your help; I truly appreciate it.

Model number will be on the front of the furnace after you remove the door on the front of the furnace.

Filters can be located in many areas but always on the return air side. Look in the blower compartment and along the side of the furnace in the return duct.

The return duct is usually located on the side of the furnace. Look there.
