How many Black players are there in the NHL?

And what teams do they play for?

At this point in the season there are 13 black players playing in the NHL. Most notable are Georges Laraque of the Edmonton Oilers, Kevin Weekes of the Carolina Hurricanes (the only black goalie), Peter Worrell of the Colorado Avalanche, Donald Brashear of the Philadelphia Flyers, Jarome Iginla of the Calgary Flames, Manny Malhotra of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Mike Grier of the Washington Capitals, Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre of the Atlanta Thrashers and Anson Carter of the New York Rangers.

Weekes isn't the only black goalie. How about Fred Braithwaite!
