Ok..so this was a month ago.. I haven't shaved in a week and a half and I just decided since my boyfriend was coming to see me That i should so i did...and when I got out of the shower I noticed small little bumbs on the lips of my vagina... I thought it was maybe razor burn or pimples so i tried to pop one and it was like a clear little ball ( really soft like ) and I kinda pinched it off and then it started to bleed.... i got really freaked out so i called my mom and she said it was probably because of razor burn but It didn't look like it it look diseased and now it's a month later and some are still there ...they are a little lighter than my skin color cause I'm tan and there kinda like a little bit on the pale side. Should i be worried? I'm not oozing or anything and i don't have nasty flowing out of me... its just i never got that before...... and I'm scared that I may have contracted something.... But I've been dating the same guy since January ya know? and i don't think he sleeps around on me he was actually a virgin before me. Can someone please help me? :( :confused:

Hi there. What you are describing seems like a couple of other questions I've read on here in the past. I did some research into it and hope this is not your problem. If it is, there are treatments available and precautions you can take to prevent spreading it. I did read, that until you know for sure you should be cautious with your hands and especially towels you use to dry yourself after a shower. Warts are a virus and can spread to common places on your body like your eyes and mouth.
Were you with anyone else prior to your BF? Often people with STD's will lie and say they were virgins, or that they have been tested. Males warts can be difficult to see or feel but can be there none the less, and they can be smaller than a grain of sand.
It takes about 3 months for a person to start showing signs of having contracted the hpv Virus. You need to go see a doctor to find out for sure. HPV is now the most common of STD's
