If my wages are being garnished to repay a student loan can they also take any tax refund due me? Thanks:)

Yes they can, this is very commom, they can and may take not only the money from the refund, but also the tax rebate you are to recieve also.

Further, if the student loan debt is large enough and old enough, they will also confiscate your STATE tax refund.
