I was on the depo needle 2 years ago and changed from the needle a year later to the birth control pill. I have been off contraceptives all together for over a year and i am still not pregnant. I have been trying and starting to become very frustrated. Can someone answer a question for me? How long after the needle and birth control pills am i back to normal? I mean when i decided to go off of the needle i went right to birth control pills and then finished taking everything all together. I just don't understand why i am not pregnant. Help?

Of course, the time that it takes for your hormones to re-regulate varies from person to person, but getting off depo takes up to about 2 years. Especially if you've been on it for some time.

Have you considered going to a fertility clinic to see how you're doing?
