Hi. I used to have pretty light blonde hair, mostly from highlights. Today i went to get hightlights and I asked for a golden blonde color instead of just straight bleach. She said because i had such light ends that I should do a highlight and a lowlight. i said ok assuming it would turn out a pretty golden blonde, but the lowlight color she put in is a dark reddish brown. I really hate it and my hair doesnt even look blonde anymore. I was looking up stuff online to try and fade the color fast, so I washed it twice with dawn, once with tide and used a violet based toner. Now the lowlights are a little lighter, but my highlights are darker and dirty looking. The all over color is really dull and sort of gray/ashy looking. i just want my blonde hair back and I don't know what to do. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

I think you should have went back to the salon and had them re-do the highlights. They made a mistake and used the wrong colors, therefore, they're suppose to fix it for free. But since you've added a toner to your hair, they will most likely charge you to have it corrected. When you do highlights or lowlights you shouldn't go more than three lighter or darker, as the result will be too dark and unnatural. There's a product called Color Fix by Jheri Redding and there's Loreal's Color Zap, their designed to remove unwanted permanent hair color. Once you've removed the color from the hair, use a Level 9 toner, it will give you back your natural color.
