i am a stay at home mother, i am wondering if i can file taxes separate from my husband even if i do not have an income?

You can file as Married Filing Separately, but why would you? In most cases married couples are better off filing jointly. Are you separated?

well it is more complicated of course, my husband messed up on his taxes 3 years ago, i just found out, so he has to refile the year he messed up, last years taxes are still be held and now this years need to b filed, so i do not know what to do, i do not even know where to start. i just found all of this out, so the lesson here is to NEVER let someone no matter who it is take care of your business!
